Stand By Your Man....or not

JW left me the other day. He's off to Denver to start his new job and has left me here with Cooper. I decided to stay awhile back, to help my mom take care of my step-dad who is battling cancer and was not doing well. He's improving.

So, I've only cried three times today...wait, no four. I almost started crying in the middle of my yoga class because the instructor was saying something spirtual and I got mushy. Then another time when my mom called and I thought she wasn't listening to me. Another when JW called and started getting fussy that I wasn't talking to him....well, I was in the middle of making dinner and I am caring for a small child (I'm talking about cooper). So, with all this crying I think I may start my you know what soon. Christ, I hope so. Then I'll be free and clear when JW comes back home to get me for the move.

Mini cooper takes a spill

Somebody forgot to close the f'ing gate upstairs and our little one fell down, oh about 15 stairs. Steep stairs! He really was a bouncing baby boy!

So, it happens and I start barking orders to JW. "get in the car", "sit in the back", "keep him awake, for god's sake". Here I am driving well over the speed limit to the nearest ER. We arrive and for some reason, I thought there would be all this commotion going on, like on TV. No, we sign and and sit and sit...I'm thinking "hello, what if my kid has a concussion" Oh, and by the way there is another kid in the waiting room, who is bleeding and screaming. For Christ's sake people, let's locamote. There are about 10 nurses doing paper work or who knows maybe a crossword puzzle while we sit here and freak out....thanks!

Anyway, the doctor had us stay a few hours to observe him and besides a couple goose eggs and bruises on his cute little noggin, he's fine.

Well here we go!

Finally, a first blog. We will use this as a vehicle to distribute ideas, thoughts, and snipits of our life. I'm a mom to a beautiful baby boy, he's 10 months, and wife to an awsome hubby. Hope you enjoy my posts, I'm sure they will often be random and dissimilar.
